Modded Casual N7 Shirt v2.0 Now UP!

Ok version 2.0 is now up on Nexus Mods, extra textures will be available soon but now I need a long break of mods because I'm so tired... modding has a lot of work specially if you make them for the game. All I want now is play a bit WoW XD!. Ah, XNALara version of this will be ready after Christmas.

See you :D.

A minor update on my Top Tank Mod

I added an alternative version of the original top tank more larger, now it covers the belly. I think it's nice to have more versions :), I hope you like it!.

Screenshots in Game Femshep Shirt V2.0

Finally some pics in game showing the remodeled version with improved texture:

Alliance emblem looks a bit deformed because it's on the supposed site where the hole was but I
 can fix it :).

The femshep version is almost completed but maleshep's version needs some texture improvements and minor fixing issues and I want to release both versions at the same time.
Maybe the release will be tomorrow :D.

See you !

Remodeling Femshep's Shirt

I'm trying to remodel the "weird space" on Femshep shirt from my mod to release the version 2.0 and Ashley version with it. Remodel things like a breast can be a real headache but I begin to understand how a vertex really works to prevent deform the mesh, with a lot of patience and the correct tools (scale, move, smooth tool and planar) it's possible!.

Some people also ask me if I could resized the chest because it looks so big (although I didn't change anything on the original outfit, it was the original size) and time before the release I was thinking on it because I don't like Shepard's chest size on ME3, to be honest I expected no one would like the resized chest with less breast, what a surprise :D.

So I resized the chest and eliminated the space between the breast, it took me 6 hours lol and it's not finished yet, I need to align some vertices because the texture on the chest looks a bit deformed but not much noticeable. Here's some pics (all from 3Ds, pics from the game soon, need fix some issues first :)):

No more weird space but I need to smooth some vertices for the release.

Chest resized, now looks more natural but I think it still needs some resize from the top, need work on it.

Working in edged faces mode helps a lot for modeling, that was my mistake before and you should always work with that mode.

Wow, now it looks more like a shirt, isn't it? I'm happy with the result.

The model with the diff texture. The texture on the remodeled body is a bit deformed where the weird space was, I need working on it.

Well, that was all, I hope I will release the new version soon without any problem.

Best regards :).

Things that I've to do

I have a lot of WIP things on my list and so little time available for it..!
Here's my list:
 - Virmire Survivors Non Combat Outfit Replacer:

The idea is replace the non combat outfit with my shirt mod.
Kaidan's oufit is a pain to change because he shares the same outfit as all alliance crew. This means that if you change Kaidan's outfit, all the men from the alliance crew (Normandy, Citadel..) would have the same outfit as him (included Joker and Cortez :D ), but well, is this or nothing :(. I've already put this in game and works fine.

Here's some pics showing the Normandy crew:
  Sexy Joker :D:

About Ashley's outfit, she doesn't share her outfit with anyone but the problem is this (she looks like silver surfer lol):
It seems the original outfit has a especial material attached for simulating that glow and don't know how to detach it yet, I should investigate it further, maybe the file needs hex editing to fix it.

UPDATE: Ok, I think I fixed this "silver issue" but now the outfit looks a bit dark and the arms shine in blue, Ashley's original outfit mysteries.. The blue shine seems to be because the original outfit it's not suppose to have skin and although I removed the specular map, the shine persist. I'm so close :/..
Thanks to Goha for the help :).

Other thing I want to do along with Kaidan's outfit is return his lashes (Bioware forgot his lashes on the way... ¬¬ ) like this:

But I have a lot of issues with this... and I'm unable to add opacity to the lashes' material plus lighting issues on his face:

This is how the lashes are without opacity, white with black background. (Poor Kaidan! XD)

More things:

- Remodel the weird space between the breast and the breast itself on my shirt mod to look more like a shirt (Ashley version will have this fixed too), this space:

I'm so bad at remodeling little things with 3Ds Max without deforming it, there must be something or a tool to prevent deforming all the mesh but I'm unable to find it, I only know the basics =(.

- Finish my Modded Formal Outfit mod:
The people want this finished but it has much work and I need a lot of time for this, specially with the bones because there are some issues that I have to fix first.

- Remodel a bit the Asari Dancer Outfit for the game to upload it along with my retexture (with this I have same issues as that weird space on the shirt).

- And finally, convert all my released mods to XPS ( First the shirt mod for sure :))

Hmm, Maybe I'll need a break after this :P .

Mass Effect 3 - Modded Casual Outfit N7 Shirt V1.5

Mesh mod project that replaces the intro outfit in Mass Effect 3. The model uses the Alliance pants, Alliance dogtags from James and upper Shepard's naked body + extra sleeves simulating a shirt. Includes blood version for the last part on the prologue.

http://kurauamami.deviantart.com/art/Mass-Effect-3-Modded-Casual-Outfit-N7-Shirt-V1-5-417245562

After two intensive days of fixing the issues from the shirt mod now it's finally finished!! the mesh issues were a pain to fix because when I fixed one thing other 321978231712389789312 things messed up but well it's finally done, sorry for the delay! mesh editing has a lot of work. Files Up!.

Extra textures:
Coming soon...

Install instructions inside the files.

The model is in beta version, some known issues:
- Some time weird shadows on the stripes appears in some angles but this is from the game.
- Neck in both versions with spiky lines in some angles and a bit clipping with the head but it's hardly noticeable, same with sleeves.
- The dogtags in MaleShep's version is a bit far from the neck to prevent a lot of clipping with the neck.
- The dogtags in MaleShep's version gets a bit clipping with the neck when Shepard bows his head, it's not much noticeable and can't fix it more.

I'm not a pro at retexturing but I've done what I could :D:
- N7 Shirt texture by me based on the original N7 Shirt from Bioware.
- Spectre Shirt texture by me based on the original Kaidan Armour Stripe Tee Shirt from Bioware and I made it for Kaidan exclusively but Shepard can have it too, why not?
- Alliance Shirt texture by me.
- Models and textures extracted from the game with Umodel by me.
Mass Effect game and characters are belong to Bioware.

Let me know if there are any issue or bug with the mod. I haven't tried the mod in all the game so I need testers :). I hope you like it and enjoy!!.

I'll upload the models for XNALara soon.

Mass Effect 3 - Modded Casual Outfit N7 Shirt

After some weeks of work here is a new mod for the game almost finished, a shirt for Maleshep and Femshep based on the original N7 Shirt design from Bioware.
I used the naked body mesh from Maleshep and Femshep for the shirt and added sleeves, I didn't like how it looks without sleeves because the shirt is "painted" on the body and sleeves adds some depth to the shirt.

Some of you told me that I should upload this so I'll upload the files in one day or two after fix some issues with the mesh :). And now after this mod I'm going to finish the Modded Formal Outfit finally!.

Things used:
- Shepard's upper naked body + Pants from alliance navy + Dogtags from James extracted from the game by me with Umodel and made it in 3Ds Max.
- Shirt texture by me based on the original N7 Shirt from Bioware.
- Promoshot rendered in 3Ds Max.

Need to fix before the release:
- Some clipping on the neck in both versions.
- Adjust the normal map.
- Some clipping on the sleeves in both versions.
- Male Shepard's dogtags needs to be a bit larger.
- Adjust the shirt's texture on Maleshep (female version is more defined).

Screenshots In-Game:

And that's all :P.

Mass Effect 3 - Modded Formal Outfit Alpha Version WIP

I'm attempting to make a new dress for Shepard because I don't like at all the dress from ME 3, I love the ported dress from ME 2 but the arms and legs looks a bit weird in ME 3 so I will try to make my own dress :D!

http://kurauamami.deviantart.com/art/Mass-Effect-3-Modded-Formal-Outfit-Alpha-Version-412539448

I've to do the complete UVW Map so the dress and the boots aren't textured yet, only recolored in 3Ds Max and I can't pose her because I still have to make the bones and fix all issues with the mesh.

This has a lot of work so it will take me a lot of time to finish be patient :P .

-  Bracelet, earrings, belt from Sims 3.
- Winged Heart Necklace from MoogleOutFitters ( I haven't been able to find one nice heart necklace from Sims 3 so I picked that one there).
- Dress and boots from Mass Effect 3 mixing outfits.
- Hair from Sims 3 by Cazy and already ported to ME3 by Kani Hime

Mass Effect 3 - Modded Casual Outfit

Original BSN Project Site (but it's provisional, I'll upload this on mediafire when they remove the BSN project site completly)

Mesh model project that replaces the intro outfit in Mass Effect 3. The model uses the alliance navy pants and the alliance necklace from James. Includes blooded version for the last part on the intro.

http://kurauamami.deviantart.com/art/Mass-Effect-3-Modded-Casual-Outfit-V2-0-Released-410324942

I changed the intro outfit because it's the single outfit that you can change and it doesn't affect to other npcs because is exclusive to Shepard, same way with the N7 hoodie or the dress/jacket. Using the intro outfit I must make a blood version as the original outfit but yeah that's not a big problem.

The version 1.5 of the mod used Ottemis' textures for the pants but I didn't know that textures were from her, I thought it was from the game and this happens when you play with the same computer of your bf and he starts to play much time before and puts .mods files for retextures without tell you nothing because I extracted all textures and meshes from the game with Umodel.

Aha! I thought so wow "the Alliance navy outfit have much quality", clear how it wasn't the original!! You can imagine my face when she sent me a note via DeviantArt and told me about the pants texture. I felt like a stupid and ashamed because I know how you feel when someone stolen your textures without permission, my first mesh mod and I messed up. I reinstalled my game (my bf didn't make a backup of the files, of course ¬¬ ), extracted the original ones, retextured it more in black and redone the half of the mod with the version 2.0.

I started to play ME Trilogy relatively recently (and I always regret for not played it before) and in my last games I used to use texmod in ME3 only for the ugly plastic dress, that's all.

The model is in beta version, some known issues:
- Line from the neck very marked in some angles and lights, can't fix this more.
- Face color different from the body depends on the light, can't fix this at 100% because is an issue from the game, this happens on bodys with the neck uncovered. Take a look at the underwear outfit and compare for reference :P.
- Sometimes on the intro part, the blood textures appears instead the normal ones but this happens with the original outfit too so it's from the game, reload the game fixes this.

Install instructions :
- Make a back up of your original files.
- Replace the pcc file in the game folder.
- Use ME3explorer to update PCConsoleTOC.bin.
- Load the texture with Texmod.

Install instructions more detailed inside the files (BSN Project Site Download)

Screenshots In-Game:

Let me know if there are any issue or bug with the mod. I haven't tried the mod in all the game so I need testers :).

Best regards!.

Mass Effect 3 - Dancer Outfit Retexture in Black

Original Project Site  (but it's provisional, I'll upload this on mediafire when they remove the BSN project site completly)

Retexture project for the dancer outfit from Mass Effect 3. I liked the Mass Effect version of the dancer outfit in black so I'll try to make it in ME3 because I don't like the pink version at all.

http://kurauamami.deviantart.com/art/Mass-Effect-3-Dancer-Outfit-Retexture-in-Black-413702066

You need texmod for use this.
Texmod download -> http://social.bioware.com/project/2015/#files

I uploaded a coalesced.bin on the project site with this outfit in the wardrobe ( this only put the original outfit, you need to use texmod with the retexture too).

If you want to put the dancer outfit in your wardrobe manually editing your coalesced.bin use the ME3 Coalesced Utility ->http://wenchy.net/me3-coalesced-utility/

Instructions to manually editing the coalesced.bin ( If you downloaded my coalesced.bin skip this steps, load the retexture with texmod and run the game) :

- Open the ME3 Coalesced Utility and open your coalesced.bin.
- Go to Edit -> Find and type casualappearance, now in the right a lot of lines with codes should appear.
- Go to the last blank line and copy this code:

(Mesh=(Male="BIOG_HMM_ARM_NKD_R.NKDa.HMM_ARM_NKDa_MDL",
MaleMaterialOverride="BIOG_HMM_ARM_NKD_R.NKDa.HMM_ARM_NKDa_MAT_1a",
Female="BIOG_HMF_ARM_NKD_R.NKDb.HMF_ARM_NKDb_MDL"),
Id=51,PlotFlag=-1,Type=CustomizableType_Torso)

- Save and exit.(Now the dancer outfit should appear in your wardrobe)
- Open texmod, load the retexture and run the game. Done.

Let me know if there are any issue with the texture. I'll make a covered version for this outfit and other colors if you want.
